Thank you so much for this experience. This is filmmaking at its best. Something you can take your kids to and enjoy as a family, recalling the nostalgia from 1986 to mesh with the times of today, while focusing on a theme of determination through persistence and what it takes to be the best. The film rode the peaks and valleys of emotion while the audience clapped, laughed, cried and watched until the last credit rolled. Thank you Tom Cruise and the more than 10,000 people it took to make this film. We walked away recalling history and where the last 25+ years have gone. The Memorial Day box office record reminds us of the quality filmmaking we've lost in the present and our need to remember the past.
