The script writers, from America, US and Germany, have lazily resorted to boring, stereotyped and stock stage characters, emphasizing what must be a complete lack of social and personal experience of the Irish. (This echoes a similar laziness with regards to some of the Australian characters from season 1.) The plot is not compelling enough to cover up the pointlessness of rolling out these Begorrah-Oirish characters, and I was left with the distinct feeling that a large part of the script was generated by AI.
Scenery is lovely and gets 5 stars.
