I love this show! Aside from the wonderful treat of watching the lovely Rashida Jones, which would be good enough in itself, this show is the spiritual inheritor of the short-lived but long-remembered "Police Squad," which introduced the late, great Leslie Neilsen as Detective Frank Drebbin and which morphed into the "Naked Gun" series of movies.
This show is really fun, with fast-paced one-liners and visual gags that require a DVR's ability to pause and go back (go back go back go back) to fully appreciate.
If you're looking for gritty reality, profound social commentary, or thought-provoking drama, change the channel. This show is all about the joy of laughter, something there isn't enough of these days.
