Bloody amazing movie. For the people that left poor comments , I truly believe they missed the concept of the movie. The mother left … never turned back and changed her identity. She didn’t want to be reminded of her past. She even covered her natural hair 24/7. A lot of reviewers don’t understand why her children were upset and thought that it was based around racism. For one - the mom left her 2 children because of being abused. She started an entire family with someone else and even got married. Her children she left behind had a struggling childhood and found out their mom moved on. Ofc they were mad and went psychotic. Their own mother , who should have been their saving grace left them with people who didn’t want them and when they showed up, she tried to pay them to leave. They are angry… filled with build up anger. It is based on race but more so on she shouldn’t be more accepting of herself. She had mixed children and they know nothing about their culture nor background not race pertaining to vulgarity. It’s a great movie with visuals that heightens and peaks your curiosity. Great movie.
