The words chosen to tell this story are well calculated to to only leave a dint in the legend that is Hugh heffiner. Crystals story tells nothing we didn't already know or assume about Hef and life in the mansion. In some way he did bring sexuality forward in time but he also halted it in his own disgusting fettish, power and control over women. Talk them up just to knock them down. Hef does not have a place at the table in 2024. I did enjoy the addition to her before life that does help to explain why she not only stayed but returned to the mansion. There is still a lot more to this story. Although rough and at times dark it is not raw.
