A great romp with many connections back to the original. The kids dominate in this movie, and Mckenna Grace, who actually looks a bit like Harold Ramis' granddaughter, is wonderful as Phoebe Spengler. She makes the connection that Grandpa Egon was not crazy living out in a remote farmhouse, but was setting a trap for Gozer, who was planning a re-entry into the world. There are cameo appearances from some of the original Ghostbuster cast, and Murray, Ackroyd and Hudson all show up at the end to help Phoebe put Gozer in her place. I found the appearance of Harold Ramis as a ghost to be somewhat creepy on several levels, since he had passed away before the movie was made, but it was tastefully done and was actually necessary to wrap up the storyline. This was a good one from the Ghostbuster franchise because it goes back to the original story. They could make a few sequels with this cast as long as the writing stays good.
