Not a fan. We went with 10 kids from 5years to 12 years. The movie could not keep them interested. Lots of conversation in the movie, lots of back story. The movie was pretty dark the whole time, and I don't just mean the theme I mean that even the circus acts were dark. Not happy and colourful. But muted and it was always night. There was a beautiful scene in the circus where the dancers were in formation, lovely costumes, the music was playing and the kids in the cinema all stopped fidgeting to watch. Of course, we cut away from this potentially fantastic scene to more conversation. So disappointing! All children lost interest. Not just the ones in our group. Still unsure who this movie is aimed at.
