Even though it is a graphical and technical mess, it is still one of the most fun Pokemon games to play. The three different "goals" add more variety to the story versus the usual "become the Champion, because why not?" plot line. The actual pokemon look the best they have, so far, in 3D. The landscape graphics however, are plain and unimaginative. This is not unusual in the Pokemon games since the transition to the 3D so it's not really a deal breaker. If you're a Pokemon fan, who's been playing the series for awhile, you'll enjoy this game. If you're looking for a beautiful, well polished, AAA, open world game this is not for you.
