Dragon ball series was already great and I think it should have stop at the buu series as it shows evolution of the z fighters. Super is a major disappointment in its creativity and storyline. It was great that it can bring back nostalgic moments like Ssj 3 gotenks, ultimate gohan, ssj3 goku, vegito, etc... but adding the transformation of god(red hair), blue, and Mui(white hair) is disappointment as it does not show the grow of evolution of these saiyan. You're just changing hair color at that point. What next purple? Going from 1, 2, 3, then 4 which brought creativity, evolution, and roots made more sense as they are not normal people but saiyans which can transform to the great ape. In addition, golden freezer? Evil goku or black? Trunks blue hair instead of purple? Broly becoming good? I admit broly is strong but in no way he should have surpassed 3 or 4. Also he is dead... so why recreate the story? Then you have the girl version of broly which is ugly. Then in the latest movie you have Cell Max which is just red cell. Super saiyan rose? The creator just doesn't have creativity. Jiren? Basically alien 👽. Android 17 who is part robot is as strong as goku who achieved ssj3. Honestly ssj3 should have been the strongest form. Piccolo to orange Piccolo? You could have called him Shen Piccolo since he was boosted by shenlong. Lastly, goten and trunks should be involved more. Vegeta and goku just needs to be focus a little less.
