Well written, dignified tell-all about the upbringing in the IBLP cult within the reality-show-famous Duggar family. This comes after her sister Jinger's book, that of which was a propaganda piece for her new piece, and not a tell-all. Jill describes child abuse and personal struggles coming to terms with the truth of her upbringing, deconstructing from the cult, and confronting her father with the massive financial abuse, child abuse, and more, that he put her through, while he treated her currently imprisoned pedophile brother who victimized her better than her. If you are familiar with the show, who portrayed the Duggar family as near-perfect and painted an illusion while witnessing the ugly truth behind the scenes, this is a good read.
