Worst acting. Worst storyline. Worst TV. Just capitalistic art. One of what will eventually be ~half a dozen spin off shows from the original TWD—which should’ve ended about 5 seasons sooner. FTWD prob should simply never have been, although an origin story for this universe def has its appeal. Just terrible execution. First 2 maybe 3 seasons are ok enough, but after that…wow. Some of the worst TV ever. Hardly a situation which feels realistic or human in any way. Just stringing moments of deus ex machina together as our protagonists encounter new group after new group of adversaries each new season, with some unique and goofy aspect to each new enemy. Rinse and repeat. Don’t waste your time even as a fan of the original.
