This movie takes parts from across Transformers lore to create a well written, streamlined film that everyone can enjoy. Someone who has never even heard of Transformers can watch this and enjoy it as much as a long time fan. The trailers make it look light and happy, but parts of it get pretty intense. It brings a much needed humanity to the Transformers. The characters are more fleshed out and breaking tropes. The mood of the movie evolves along with the characters. The animation also changes with the films mood too, getting more intricate as the plot moves along. One thing to say is that you need to stay after the credits, like the very end.
