The acting is bad and the writing is worse. Some of the most cliche lines I’ve heard on television since the Brady Bunch. A transparent formulaic attempt by ABC to capture the success of “This Is Us” by making the audience hang on week after week, not because the show is good or even intriguing, but only because they want some answers. Why did John kill himself and who is Barbara Morgan? After watching Episode 12, “The Day Before,” my wife and I have decided that we don’t want the answers that badly.
