This series represents a significant decline in the quality of Disney's handling of the Star Wars franchise, making Episode 9 appear relatively competent by comparison. It features a level of representation that diverges notably from the original vision, which may not appeal to fans who appreciated the prequels and the original trilogy for their storytelling, lightsaber duels, and well-crafted scripts. Additionally, those who appreciated characters like Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) or Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) may find this series disappointing due to its departure from traditional character portrayals and canonical integrity. It disrupts established lore to the extent that Anakin Skywalker's role as the Chosen One is called into question.
However, I do recommend it to people who think “R2D2 is a lesbian.”
