Crystal Stubbs is a great roll and Kirsten Dunst rings every bit of desperate intensity out of it but she's almost upstaged by the heartbreaking performance of Mel Rodriguez as Ernie Gomes. The show is funny in parts but I wouldn't call it a comedy because this series is a sad reflection of the state of the American Dream for the working poor who have to buy into the lie that we can all be millionaires and escape our desperate circumstances because what choice do we have...

I'm reviewing Dear Ex because it has stayed with me for weeks afterwards. This film has unexpected depths and took me two places I didn't expect. The lead actress gives a towering performance and all the cast are excellent. The characters all evolve during the story until they can appreciate each other's position and the film ends rather touchingly. This film is intense but worth your time.

The fall of Skywalker is what it should have been called. What are nasty twist to end the whole franchise. They should have stopped after the original three films.
