One of my most insightful childhood memories was being on set at a Kentucky location. Seeing Montgomery Clift take a drink on the rocks, at every cut, gave a nine year old kid a introduction to Hollywood. My older brother was tasked to deliver a telephone message to Elizabeth Taylor. We were rural farm kids.
