Legitimately one of the best games on the Wii
Very aware that a lot of Silent Hill fans might not agree due to the lack of combat in the game and that it's a huge step away from the original in terms of how the story is told (and how the game is played), but if you can put that to the back of your mind and appreciate the story being told, the (very, very good) game mechanics and controls together with the concept that this is "true" survival horror where you run-and-hide rather than constantly melee against supernatural monsters then you are likely going to have a pretty good time with this.
The controls, as mentioned, are truly wonderful on the Wii version (which is where I would suggest playing it) as the wii-mote acts as your torch, and the nunchuck to control Harry. If you really want to add a great touch to the game then strongly suggest setting the Wii up on either an enormous screen or even a projector if possible - the size of screen (and amount of which that the torch therefore takes up) really does add to the eerie environment.
As a few other reviewers have alluded to - the game does change depending on the choices you make throughout. The main change being the ending you see, but the storyline in general will also change, including some of the monsters you'll encounter, depending on some decisions you make during the game.
Overall I consider this a must-buy and, for me, the absolute best in the Silent Hill series. It's certainly the most immersive and has an incredible amount of replayability too
