I'm not going to write much, but it's worth watching. I agree that in a certain perspective, it can be quite controversial and even painful to watch this series as it depicts a certain time period of South Korea's democratic protests. However, if the context that acts as a backdrop for the series is eliminated, then you'd get to watch a magnificently crafted story between two ill-starred lovers. (I rated this 4 stars because of the context they had included. Other than that it's a great series with an amazing cast.)

I finished watching this drama a few days ago. Ever since then, I have been watching behind-the-scenes and various FMVs made for "MinTor". Most YT videos that were related to the filming of this drama had lots of negative comments about the main lead and the relationship being toxic. First of all, this drama is amazing. But you wouldn't just understand it through watching variousFMVs or even cut-out scenes of it. The main lead had his explanations as to why he was quite rough with his co-star in the drama. That was the building up of the story. To understand the whole thing you must watch this drama. Other than that I am speechless- my vocabulary isn't capable of describing how much I adored this drama and how I am waiting forever to hear an announcement that a Season 2 would join this drama. Please watch the drama instead of judging it through the mini-scenes you see on YT and other SNS platforms. I hope you'll cherish this drama. It's got part-blockbuster scenes, family and relationship problems, stereotyping in society, and even how money can take over the law at times. My greatest advice is dear reader, go watch this immediately. Like ASAP.
