Batman has been done. Better. Already. Between the mumbling, and 3 hr run time I needed to watch this over several days or preferably rewatch Nolan's series.
A slow paced slog, with a considerable lack of dialogue which I guess is good considering what dialogue is in the movie is mumbled, incohesive and poorly written.
Even the action scenes were not anything close to Nolan's Batman. The Batmobile (which doesn't even really appear until 1/2 way through this drawn out saga) is closer to a suped up Camero put together by a low budget Batman film not 100 million dollar Hollywood movie. The chase scene is shot predominately in Penguin's review mirror rather than the perspective of the people driving the cars. All in all the direction makes for a better boring chase.
I like Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman but the dialogue does nothing to highlight her skill.
Disappointing at best. This movie add nothing to the Batman legacy. Its not innovative, not well directed, not well written and drags on endlessly. If you're going to spend 3 hrs watching Batman, watch Christopher Nolan's take.
