After many years (I was a high school senior when this came out) CF&TBDC still emerges as my 'favorite' EJ album even though I personally believe 'Madman' is a 'better' overall album. Make sense? 'Captain' is beautifully autobiographical (thanks to Bernie) and while Meal Ticket is probably the weakest of the lot (and 'Some Saved my Life Tonght' has been so overexposed) I always need to listen to this album as a whole. 'Writing' is a gem, 'Tell Me When the Whistle Blows' is a standout and 'We All Fall In Love/Curtains' is one you can never turn off before its finished. Thanks Elton. And Bernie.
