I loved every episode of Meteor Garden which is a first for me as I usually skip an episode here and there and not miss anything simply because of the sheer number of episodes but, not in this case. Just as you can't put a good book down so it is with Meteor Garden watching until early morning at times before having to reluctantly switching off the TV. Seeing Shancai and Si's relationship go from hate and a one sided love through a love hate relationship before finally blossoming into true love and watching Si 'grow up' (with the help of the other members of F4) as their relationship developed was well acted and believable with his tantrums at not getting what he wants (Shancai) and disbelief that there could actually be a girl in the world who doesn't think of him as 'God's gift to women' through to his childish jealousy and pure excitement over getting something as simple as biscuits made by Shancai was great to see. Watching as Shancai's relationship with Lei went from a having a crush on him to true friendship was a delight as was her differing experiences with the other members of F4, Si's sister and the mother from hell, Si's mother! I cheered for Shancai as she battled with Si's mother, cried with her as she started to think that she liked Si but was unable to admit it to herself and had to face the fact that she may actually lose him due to an arranged marriage between what basically amounted to a 'merger' and loved it when Si and Shancai battled and won with the aid of Si's sister. THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST WATCH!! And is well worthy of rewatching.
