At first it kind of confused me bc where I live it would be impossible to just find someone at a bus stop and let them stay at your house even more impossible to do that with your parent's approval but after that I only have 3 words.. MAGICAL, BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING. The friendship and the chemistry between the kids is amazing and so sweet, we learn more than one moral, the visuals are absolutely amazing and the main thing we learned was that even though it might hurt those who love you just want the best for you, it centers around themes of acceptance, understanding, and the power of love to transcend differences and overall the movie delivers a message about the beauty of diversity and the transformative power of love and acceptance. It also transmits understanding and how powerful bonds can help overcome obstacles. It also tells us that we shouldn't hide, bottle up or keep emotions to ourselves. We also go over other little secret morals if you will, for an example, the old man in the little cafe transmits that you should treasure what you have even though you've lost something precious to you and you should make the most of life (at least thats what I got from him) and with the siblings who gave Tsumugi and Hiigari a ride that you should communicate to solve problems, especially when it comes to family. I ABSOLUTELY recommend watching My Oni Girl, it's on netflix.
