Paul Bandong

This one is probably one of the best anime live action adaptation so far. The cast was great, the action sequences was great, the cinematography was great. But not everything is great, there were some plot and dialogue changes that I like and dislike BUT my biggest criticism is how condensed the plot is. Putting all that 100 chapter of the manga to an 8 episode hour long series HURT this one, I like that it's fast paced BUT they should've allot some time for the viewers to breath and process the plot. What happened is that we ended up having a lot of flashback and we already had a lot of flashback so guess what? they decided to CUT Luffy's backstory and insert it in multiple episodes instead of just making it the focus of the first episode or at the very least episode 2. So yeah, because of that there's too many back and forth in the story. Anyways, this is a great adaptation and a lot of the problem I think could've been solved if they made it into a 10 episodes series. The flow of the story would probably be better and the viewers will have more time to be invested to the characters. I also hope that they keep some of the HARD dialogues in the manga such when Koby said to Luffy that Zoro would kill him and Luffy responded "He can't, I'm too strong". Anyways, my real rating is 4 BUT it's One Piece so I have to gas it that's why it's a 5 HAHAHA
