Absolute rubbish . Loved all of Lee Child’s books, but when he didn’t want to write Jack Reacher anymore he should have left it there - not got someone else to write it for him. You can tell it’s not the real writer or character. Gave up at 23% and that’s me trying hard. Too hard to get into, too descriptive on the banal things, doesn’t use language or thoughts that Jack would use and cannot carry the story successfully enough to bring it all together. Bored stiff. Wasted money. Off to re-read all the old Jack reacher stories before Andrew “Child” came along.
