There is no element of truth in this book. The writer just publish the Secular idea, and that is what the scholars have been imagining about the Christian Faith. There is nothing like academic work here because academic work involves educating the minds of the people.
The Lord Jesus Christ is never a Revolutionist or a Zealot. He has no problem with the Roman's Authority. He was tried by the Roman Governor Pilate. From the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John: each one had reported that Pilate had wanted to release Christ Jesus, because he didn't find Him guilty of any offense that was brought against Him by the religious leaders. He had brought in a murderer when he had wanted to set free the Lord Jesus Christ, but the Jewish religious leaders threatened that they'll report him to Caesar.
From the Gospel of John 18,Pilate had told the Lord Jesus Christ that, "He can release Him." But the Lord Jesus Christ told him, "Unless such power was given to you from the Above." He told Pilate, "I was born for the sake of the eternal Truth" (John 18:38). Gov. Pilate was so fearful that he asked Him. "What is the Truth?"
Again, if the Lord Jesus Christ has had problem with the Roman Authority just as the writer had wanted the world to believe; the Apostle Paul wouldn't have appealed to Caesar for a similar religious cause.
I'm highly disappointed when I saw that the free society had accepted this false information here.
I had made my view known through "The Battle of the Two Kingdoms:The Lord God's Story" (Smassword book).
