I am only on Chapter 27, and very disappointed. I find it hard to keep up with. I have to flip back to previous chapters to make sure I know what’s going on. Isles is one of my favorite authors ever, but this is not good. I read to get away from what’s going on and found this book to be too politically motivated, regardless of which party you support. I don’t like hearing Trump and Biden on TV, I really don’t like hearing about it in a book that I looked forward to reading for months.
