This movie is gory. There's no sugar-coating the fact. So, before you watch it, I suggest you check out your specific trigger warnings and be prepared because I think this movie has a lot of triggers. The gore and violence are over the top, I agree, but it's all there for a purpose, which, I think, justifies the use of such violence. But if you can take the gore (not ignore it, because it's an integral part of the narrative), it's an excellent movie. Apart from that, if you last till the end, you are rewarded with a fitting conclusion and a message that will make you think. Keep in mind that this movie was released in the 80s. Considering that, it's impressive how they made everything seem so realistic. That's part of the reason why this hits so hard. So overall, please don't ignore this movie because of all the gore. I assure you, there is a method to the madness.

This movie is my childhood. I remember taking this DVD to school when I was in grade 1 (2010-11; I'd watched the movie multiple times since I was 3 or 4) and we stopped watching by the scene in which Spirit finds the humans for the first time because the teacher thought it was too dark for us to see the movie clear on the projector screen. I remember feeling heartbroken when this happened... I loved the movie (still do) and wanted my friends to see it too. Now 13 years later I watched it again. I found myself wanting to cry not only because it was sad, but also because I remembered how much I love this movie. This is an absolute masterpiece. I hadn't realised then, but I'd actually attributed songs to scenes. Watching it now, I remembered exactly what was going to happen based on the song that was playing. I can't stress enough how good this movie is. It's definitely worth watching. You won't regret it. Even if you do, it's only 1 hour 23 minutes, so. . . 🙃

So underrated. It can't be called a classic, or flawless, or anything like that. But it did have a charm that was entirely its own. After watching Efron's Dirty Grandpa and being disappointed as hell, I've now regained faith in movies. This movie makes you feel things. Yes, I did watch it because I'm a fan of Zac Efron. It's a quiet movie despite all the music. I don't mean there's a lack of sounds or anything when I say quiet. . . just that it was unassuming and humble. The romance is kind of central to the movie, but what I liked more was the rest of the movie. . . romance aside. I really do think this movie deserves at least one watch. Personally, I'm gonna do a rewatch because I loved one of the dialogues, forgot what it was by the end of the movie, and now need to find it out.

This movie is a classic for a reason. The lack of special effects, CGI and stuff used in movies now does not stop 'Psycho' from sending a chill down the spine. Unlike movies like 'The Exorcist' that relies on swearing, disfigured face and the infamous pea-soup vomit (which, by the way, makes the movie much less scary when watched today, but it is understandable why it was such a classic horror flick in its day) to produce its scares, 'Psycho' relies on its actors and their performance - which is why it still holds up today. There isn't a single boring or unwanted scene, and the plot is fast-paced enough to hold our attention, and at the same time, not overwhelmingly so. This is a movie that still remains a classic even though sixty-odd years have passed since its release. It deserves at least one watch and won't be boring even if you rewatch it.

This movie was terrible. I watched it for Zac Efron and Robert De Niro, but I'm sorry to say it was a sore dissapointment. It isn't even remotely funny. I mean sure, there are a few gags here and there, but apart from that, it was just overly vulgar. There's even one character whose sole purpose was to be the butt of De Niro's character's fat jokes. I mean, come on people. Zac Efron and De Niro. . . it could've been so much better. Instead, what we get is 1 hour and 49 minutes of cringe plus dick jokes plus clichés.
