The performance issues are very serious, especially if you are like me and playing on a first generation Switch Lite - but I also play games that are way better designed and graphically impressive, which do not have these issues. But it impacts my experience significantly and are very frequent. That being said, if it wasn't for these issues, the game would be in my top 3 games for Pokémon games. There is no Pokémon game released in recent years that has given me as much of an enjoyable experience with gameplay as this game. Although I think they should ship games complete, I am a rational individual who works at a job whose leadership often pushes for releases of things that aren't quite there as well. If they manage to patch these issues, I will revise this to a 5 star review.
