The book was a great read. Well developed characters and an intriguing storyline. This miniseries was horrible. The acting was stiff and no chemistry between actors. Annette Benning, Sam Neil and Alison Brie are some pretty big actors who normally are great on screen, this time nope. The changes from the book,somewhat understandable. 1. Why Florida? Australia was good in the book. 2. Brooke needed to be gay? Why? Just to hit some woke american quota? 3. The storylines were just forgotten. The book gives background on Savannah that makes the story gel. Without it the story flounders and we are left with this mess.
