I totally disagree with all the negative reviews on this tv show... I suddenly ran into this zombie series as I was going through the whole thing looking for something with action to watch. I was a fan of the walking dead for some time until I realize that watching a zombie flick where some characters never die was too unrealistic, having babies during an apocalyptic situation? Cmon! Sentimental relationships? Who would worry about that when you have the undead out to get you? A sheriff’s deputy who would carry his 357 and never ran out of bullets? After the WD I was no longer interested in zombie movies; black summer got me on the edge of my seat from the first episode, however, some scenes were unnecessary as they go beyond being adult scenes, I was disappointed by it but fortunately throughout the rest of the first season and the entire second was packed with nothing but action and very realistic situations that got me waiting impatiently for the third season. Now, some viewers complained that there were other people robbing and killing others, how is that unrealistic? We live through that now a days! What makes you think for one second that there would not be such situations? Why does it upset you that there is a character who does not speak the language? It could happen! Don’t see the wrong in that at all.... and as far as the story going back, I think it’s perfect, as they are showing you how things went down nothing wrong with that either. Overall I give Black Summer Five stars and the actors as well as everyone played their rolls magnificently well. Come back soon Black Summer we are waiting impatiently for the third season!!!!!!!
