Maybe the best sci-fi/horror film ever. Flawlessly terrifying.

Wing Hauser is brutal as the hooker beating antagonist. This movie sticks with you because of him. I saw this movie as a child (not recommended) and the gritty realism scared me. I never forgot it.

The MOST UNDERRATED HORROR FILM EVER! This film is genuis at times. Imagine having the technology to go into the minds of a Jeffrey Dahmer or a Ted Bundy. Terrifying visuals. Jennifer Lopez has yet to match her performance in this.

Alot of imagery regarding the anti-christ shows a human with the head of a lamb. Where's this film going? What's it saying? Is this a dark, end of times film? Creepy, disturbing and deep when you think of it in that way.

THIS IS NOT A MASTERPIECE! in the age of straight to streaming, people have lowered their standards when critiquing films. It's like everyone was so thirsty for a new Batman movie, that anything that came down the pipe would suffice. The dialogue was elementary, fight scenes were watered down...and for a film that was supposed to "showcase batman's detective side" it was just flat out dumb at times. Good points: score, penguin (Colin Farrell was great), car chase scene.

Grossly underrated movie!. This film does for deep waters, what THE DESENT did for cave diving. If the visual murkiness of being at the bottom of the ocean isn't enough to scare you, the creatures ontop of that WILL. (Im not a swimmer, so deep water phobia is real for me.) I don't quite get the ALIEN RIPOFF discredit. These creatures are from here (earth) so technically they're not aliens, more of an undiscovered species. (Which makes it scarier than the concept of the ALIEN films). Kristen Stewart is real good in this. A must see.👍👍

A psychological rollercoaster that takes you on an intense ride that feels familiar, yet still very enjoyable.

I found this film very disturbing and uncomfortable to watch. Will go down as one of the most underrated horror films ever. A must see.

I DO NOT KNOW why this film didn't get more credit than it deserved. Absolutely terrifying. Arguably the scariest extra-terrestrial film ever to be made.
