Nothing ground breaking but just great old fashioned really well done fun. Great fights, music, casting etc. Solid emotionally driven story telling, and more. If you're Chinese I'm sure you'll love it for the knowledgeable plot and small cultural references, and if you're not well you'll enjoy a peek into that aspect of their world. E.g I learned that long earlobes are apparently a sign of highborn nobility and the triad used to be anti-corruption. It doesn't look like there will be a season 2 as the whole story closed itself quite nicely. But it will be a happy surprise if they decide to make another. End of the day you'll do you, but it's 8 EPs and you if you're looking for something worthwhile this will tick that box. Take it easy.
