What a cinematic masterpiece.
People who rate this movie anything less than 5 stars are probably insecure little men who think fight club is the pinnacle of cinema.
This incredible film begins with a hand drawn stop motion backing story as to why these animals have turned to mutilation and murder in the 100 acre wood. This beautiful hand drawn stop motion combines a feeling of child like whimsy with frightening scratchy pencil graphics. This movie has representation all throughout, blondes, brunettes, gingers, lesbians, all the works. And while there were many parts in the movie that made me turn my head away, Christopher Robbin made up for. That man was so fine for no reason. For the extremely low budget I would image this film had the jump scares and tourture scenes are incredibly realistic and frightening. The acting in this movie from everyone across the board was wonderful and i truely believed that there really were a group of girls terrified for their lives in the hide away cabin of hundred acre wood. This movie left me peeing my pants at the thought of ever steping foot in the hundred acre wood, or eat honey ever again. This movie deserved an Oscar.
