I have rarely seen a more dragged out film. The script spent more time with non-verbal communication than it did words. Which could have worked if it didn’t take long, long drawn out silences. Followed by more long silences. Filming was excellent and the stunt men must have enjoyed the work, because they sure had enough of it. Probably the best scene done that was particularly well done, was the horse breaking scene with Old Thunder doing a great job acting. One could almost see the trainer giving the commands. Had it not had the stellar cast, it certainly would not have had much of an audience.
