A film looking to have an impact - but will quite possibly do more harm than good.
Storytelling about a topic as sensitive as child trafficking is always going to be tough, but there are a few quite simple golden rules. Try to avoid the white saviour narrative - talk with experts about what is helpful and harmful - and leave viewers with something practical they can do which will actually help. This film doesn't even try with most of these - it will no doubt raise awareness - but very possibly in a way that distorts public perceptions about how child trafficking works, and therefore make it more difficult to make progress
