Not scary. You'd expect a twist ending from M Night. But if he considered this a twist ending then he must be nuts. Don't bother.

It takes inspiration from "Outbreak" I Am Legend" "28 Days Later" and "Aliens" and doesn't pull it off at all, there's no character development at all, so you dont really care about what happens.it's not scary and can't decide if it's a Zombie movie or not. Frankly it's very very dull.

SPOILERS I predicted it all along, as soon as they showed that pic and then introduced her. I thought it was insanely obvious from the start that it'd be her and that the young girl was meant to throw you off ..so I was waiting on a huge twist, but the twist I already called from the start so it was very disappointing. Was looking forward to this too as I'm a fan of the series. Its an OK film, but predictable.

The beginning is alright. The rest is so unbelievable. They'd have been dead a lot sooner, also the kid must decide sequence...one of the two would have been killed. None of that prolonged time-to-get-defeared type nonsense. Plus the main guy will always be the perfect ex bf of pams in Meet the Parents to me, so was picturing him in the scenario
