Okay let's get something straight this movie was based on a TV series out in the 60s or 70s I actually saw it and the series was not too bad it was a spy flick kind of like the. Men from Uncle. I admit it was a little dry and I'm slightly campy ( the TV series) that is but I can honestly say they weren't able to transfer it very well to a movie and I found Sean Connery on replaying a bond type villain a little surreal. I'm sure he had fun with it and it's true Marvel use the term Avengers before they did in the TV series so I can see why there would be some confusion with people who are unfamiliar with the TV show it. The movie though was just was not a well-written movie and was probably way too dry for our current audience combined and on a side note one of the reviewers compared it to the Marvel's Avenger endgame please get a grip they're two different types of movies one is a superhero movie The Other is a campy spy movie you can't compare them at all it's apples and oranges. other than an element of fantasy to them.
that's about the only thing they have in comparison and the villain vs. good guy concept
