great cop series during the first two seasons when soul seemed tan and trim and cooler and the ladies man and glaser more comedic. this all changed by the third and forth seasons where glaser became valentino and soul became more goofy. by season 4 soul looked heavier and haggard and wearing bowling shirts and a mustache. starsky and hutch was a great action series with plenty of violence and humor between the two stars. i grew up warching it when it first aired and it will always be my favorite of cop tv shows.
