This was an amazing show and a great book! It really goes to show how this family, during a time of hell was able to survive!! It is just fathomable the things these poor people went through during that time and how we as a society should put in the effort of learning about not only the survivors but everyone else who has perished during this time. It also leaves me with a great deal of respect for those who survived and everything they had to deal with after the war (PTSD, loss of family & friends, etc).
