Summary - if you like a funny mc, then this is the book for you, bt you also need to be aware of thr constant toxic masculinity and gaslighting that is focused around this poor girl.
Spoilers ahead - I like the mc, Alexis. She's funny and her little comments are relatable and fun. Though every single man here is toxic af, constantly gaslighting and extremely hypocritical, all seeming to think they own her. The way Augustus and Kharon treat her is actually extremely creepy and gross. As others have said, I also feel the ending was rushed and probably could have been planned better. The reveal of her parents also seemed rushed and kind of contrived, with Hades and Persephone seeming completely shocked the second it was revealed, like couldn't they figure out their child?? That might just be a personal nitpick though. Would probably read the second book, but I might regret that choice. Achilles ominously alluding to himself and patro also owning Alexis at the end doesn't exactly help with every single man trying to dominate and control her.
