2018 is a spectacular movie with a strong story, screenplay and star cast! Well-written and executed, this movie is undoubtedly an all-time classic of Malayalam movies where the story itself is the hero. It portrayed the emotions of people during the havoc and how each other helped to overcome the crisis. Director Jude Antony Joseph has done an exceptional job! Technicalities and VFX are top-notch. They depicted the intensity of the flood and has been the backbone of the movie throughout. They gave a rich visual experience to the audience and made us realise how worse the situation was then. The movie is true to its tag line, "Everyone is a Hero". Everyone in their role has done an incredible job. Tovino Thomas has lived the character and I loved the character sketch of Asif Ali. Loved the screen presence of Tanvi Ram and Aparna Balamurali. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kunchako Boban, Lal, and Kalaiarasan have been magnificent with their acting.
