A COMPLETELY OVERHYPED BOOK lily bloom, the main character, who was supposed to be the protagonist, was the red flag to be honest. the girl was totally playing the victim card. She acted like whatever she was doing was right. oh really? Lets see She is the one hung up on her first love. oh god this is sick ! She keeps Atlas's gifts, fridge magnet and the diaries in which she wrote about him. And then she wants Ryle, her HUSBAND, to understand? I agree the rape and all the violence Ryle did was absolutely wrong, there is no excuse for that. But Lily is not that innocent as much as she tries to show. She blames Atlas for not coming back to her. What was she doing in Boston? Couldn't she reach to him? Puts all the fault on Atlas the difference between Ryle and Lily's dad, Ryle told her the traumatic event he had been through. As his wife and a person who says she loves him and even took the vows, she should have sent him to anger management therapies and a doctor to help him even more to get out of his past. If even after this Ryle was out of control, that is when she should have left. This tells a lot about the author though. the story was not even close to what I thought it would be

in general, a good book. from the book's first line, i knew its gonna be something different. the story didn't bore me at all. i loved the characters, Sony, C, Neo and Sam. Although I didn't like Hikari to that point, she was fine too. the story at one point made a tear drop from my eyes, so i guess author did a good work. the only thing that I didn't like about the book was that too many thing were said metaphorically, unnecessarily. Having metaphors is good but there is a limit. Some things could have been said directly, it would have saved my time as a reader. for example, in one chapter, Sam was describing Hikari and the whole description was full of metaphors. I had to read the whole page 2 times. So i did not like that. Other than that, I really really like the book and the story. Got something fresh to read and such a beautiful cover. I give it 4/5

When i started the book, it was good.... it proceeded well...but at one point, it felt like the author was just trying to stretch the story... after 400 pages, the book started boring me and i went into reading slump its way too superficial fr. How is EVERYONE so helpful to Naomi, that girl got literally everything served on a plate and yet she was "struggling". everyone becomes that girl's friend, how?? And also, how does one small town have so many handsome men? a town full of Brad Pitt, Chris evans etc etc... too fake.... At one point, the dialogues of the characters become weird... lines so weird that it was obvious it didn't suit the characters i expected it to be better... way too overhyped.. i give it 1.5/5 (not an option , so 2)
