By no means am I a book reviewer, but this book is not very good. This book is a generic fantasy book that fails to introduce any new / interesting concepts about the fantasy universe. Even though it's not very old, this book reads like a stone tablet. The plot is generic and the emotions when people die are very unearned. In addition, the book is very icky, with the romance and sexual tension being very awkward. I feel as if this book ultimately doesn't bring any new concepts to the table, and I think it would be worthwhile just to read a better book.
