Bird Box is an interesting idea which on the whole is executed well with strong performances and genuine tension. Where it falls down is the basic concept of trying to get from A to B blindfolded without dying or bumping into anything. It certainly needed Sandra to bump her head or stumble a few more times to convince.... Probably would have had more tension if Sandra was clutching a box of maltesers which start to melt when exposed to evil forces...
