I really tried to watch with an open mind. But the show needed to be more than just a Harry and Megan pity party. More than just one more attack on the royal family. More than just a series of lies told to Oprah.
Unfortunately it wasn't any of those things.
He starts off by insulting his brother and his wife, the Prince and Princess of Wales. By saying that William just married someone who fit the mold and Harry waited for someone who he was really suited to? He seems to forget that we know he proposed to at least two other women before. Megan. I guess he's saying he was suited to someone who lies so often, she can't remember the lies? In Oprah, she said they were set up by friend. In the new documentary, they met on a social media website. On the Oprah interview Fergie taught her how to curtsy. In the new documentary it was Harry. Small things. But it does show a tendency to not tell the truth.
Oh and all it was just another lie fest. Lots of fake photos. Lots of fake images of Megan being chased by the paparazzi when we know she never was. Not in the way Diana, Kate and Fergie were. Or even the countess of Wessex for that matter. But most of the fake images were brought to light by the trailer.
The saddest part was when she did the fake curtsy and you could tell by Harry's face that he was very uncomfortable. But not uncomfortable enough to man up and not allow his wife to insult his grandmother who has just passed away not 3 months ago. His family is still mourning. His country is still mourning. Lots of people are still mourning her loss. Bad taste. Just bad, bad, bad taste.
It's really just more of the same lies. But interesting to note, they say they had little control over the making of this reality series, but if you look at the credits, Archwell is credited as a producer. No control?
