This was a groundbreaking show for the era, well written and with great locations.
It was able to go to three series because it was well written and developed away from what might just be a narrow oeuvre.
In those days, corruption was not as widespread as many may think, certainly the way the program develops away from the original concept does give it some food for thought.
Line of duty never appealed to me.
