I am Hispanic and have grown up on the US side all my life. So has my mother, and my grandmother, and my great grandmother Lived in La Vernia TX, Had all kinds of drama, infidelity, adoptions, and great things come out of it all. Its sad to think that our neighbors don't have the same rights because they were on the wrong side of the border when Texas became a state of the Union I dont think that our elected officials even understand what is happening on the border towns South, Central, or Northern Americans, we are all suffering the same tragedy of not understanding each other.I am not saying opening up our borders to let everyone in, but to focus our humanitarian efforts within the Americas
