Ashen Reflection

Rather tiresome collection of outdated cliches. Man fails at surviving the zombie apocalypse until he sees a pretty girl - something to live for now, maybe I'll get with her if I can protect her/feed her/water her. Even though I've spent 40 days failing hard in doing any of these things for myself! Sexist portrayal of the female character as she exists only to motivate the male. On top of this there are some very poor plotting instances. People who walk out of shot and exit the movie, never to be seen again, an entire floor of the apartment vanishes after the intro, shotguns miraculously appear just when needed. And the main guy's answer to everything is to squint, sulk, and throw himself around in a strop. Watch the Korean version for a far more entertaining and complex take on the same script! With female characters! In their own right! And guys who can keep their clothes on! And an ending that isn't a slo-mo run at a fridge! And everything!
