This was the worst war movie we’ve ever seen. Truly a terrible movie. We saw it in the theaters in 98’ and still to this date is the only movie we have walked out on. One can’t blame the bad reviews on the fact it was released around the same time as saving private ryan. It just plainly was a awful film. Tried to make it super artsy and “real” but it was just plain bad. Many people Walked out during the movie. It was like the movie Mother……..just tried to hard. I don’t know what movie the positive reviewers watched but it couldn’t have been The Thin Red Line.
