Not a bad movie. First of all, Saka tribe were Iranic. They had big eyes, white skin or a light skin, they had red or blonde hair. Go search Wikipedia and other sources. They have left their genetic influence on people of Kazhakastan and surrounding countries but most of all, on the Turkic-speaking Uighur people of Hotān, in Xianjing China. Back to the movie again, it's worth watching. But it has no historical value and is just fiction, which is no sin. The Fārabi his self is not proved to be a native Turkic speaker of Kazhakastan. Plus it would have been cooler for Fārabi to speak Classical Arabic with a Persian or Turkic accent.
Thank you director for at least something about our shared past.
Plus: Although, I guess there must have been some violent rivalry between Saka sub-tribes, but I don't think it's been this prehistorically gory violent farce, the director tries to portray. But again, go watch it, especially if your from the region.
